My name is Robert Rose, I served an indentured French polishing apprentiship at the finest joinery company in the UK. I attended the London College of Furniture, obtaining 12 results in City and Guilds along the way.

      I ran my own business for 20 years, working on diverse projects such as the Bank of England, Planet Hollywood (London) and the Tate Modern, before settleing in France 12 years ago.

      I am a restoreing-woodfinisher who can work insitu on all types of woodwork or furniture, and produce any type of finish, because there is more to finishing than button polish.

      I can take a used item of furniture, add new parts and even use paint where appropriate to create something unique. The creation of furniture using new and recycled materials is my favorite type of work.

      Je m'appelle Robert Rose, j'ai effectué un apprentissage en finition de bois dans la meilleure entreprise d'ébénisterie au Royaume-uni. J'ai également fait des études à la London College of Furniture, l'une meilleures écoles en ce qui concerne la restauration et création de mobilier. 

        J'ai eu mon entreprise pendant 20 ans en Angleterre, ce qui m'a permis de travailler sur de nombreux projets tous très différents, tels que, la Bank of England, Planet Hollywood (Londres) et la Tate Modern, avant de m'installer en France il y a 12 ans.

      Je suis un spécialiste en finition de bois qui peut travailler sur tous types de bois, mais aussi faire n'importe quel style de finition. 

     Je peux prendre un meuble usé, ajouter de nouvelles parties mais aussi utiliser de la peinture pour créer quelque chose d'unique. La création de mobilier utilisant des matériaux neufs ou usés est la partie préférée de mon travail.
